WELCOME

Welcome to my web page! I am a 34-year veteran of the Eastbrook Community Schools. In my career at Eastbrook I have taught vocal music to students in first through eighth grades. I know many of you have passed through my door! This year I am teaching students in grades K-6 at Washington, Van Buren, Upland, and Matthews elementaries.

SCHEDULE

As I mentioned above, I teach at all four Eastbrook elementary schools. I see all students in grades K-6: that's nearly 800 students each week. I work to give my students the best educational experience possible in my classroom. Studies have shown the development of musical skills is directly related to the student's overall academic success.

Through the Eastbrook music curriculum the students gain self-discipline, respect for others, listening skills, audience ettiquette, verbalization skills, self-expression, and so much more. I thank you for supporting your child's education and for supporting our music curriculum through your attendance at our schools' music programs.
